In New Delhi, the price of 999-purity silver rose by 5,000 rupees, reaching a total of 265,000 rupees per kilogram. The previous day, silver prices here were seen trending at just 260,000 rupees per kilogram. In Mumbai, following an increase of 5,000 rupees, 999-purity silver reached a price of 265,000 rupees per kilogram. Just a day earlier, the silver rate was observed trending at 260,000 rupees per kilogram.
An increase of 5,000 rupees was also witnessed in silver rates in Lucknow. Following this hike, the price of one kilogram of silver is being recorded at 265,000 rupees. The previous day, the silver rate stood at 260,000 rupees per kilogram.
In Bhopal, the price of 999-purity silver rose by 5,000 rupees, reaching a total of 265,000 rupees per kilogram. The previous day, silver prices here, too, were at 260,000 rupees per kilogram.
In Chennai as well, the price of 999-purity silver was seen trending at 265,000 rupees per kilogram following an increase of 5,000 rupees. In contrast, the silver rate hereon the previous day stood at 260,000 rupees per kilogram.
In Ghaziabad as well, silver surged by ₹5,000, reaching a price of ₹265,000 per kilogram. Just a day earlier, the rate for silver in the city stood at ₹260,000 per kilogram. Similarly, in Meerut, following a jump of ₹5,000, silver reached a total price of ₹265,000 per kilogram. The previous day, the price of silver was recorded at just ₹260,000 per kilogram.
Continued Volatility in Silver Prices
In the Indian bullion market, the rates for 999-purity silver continue to experience fluctuations. At one point, prices had even soared above ₹400,000 per kilogram; however, a sudden and sharp decline subsequently drove the rates down to below ₹250,000.
Currently, the price of silver is being recorded at ₹265,000 per kilogram. This means that silver is currently trading at a discount of approximately ₹145,000 per kilogram compared to its all-time peak.
