New Delhi: Shocking news has emerged from Hong Kong. A massive fire broke out in a multi-story building in Taipo City,causing widespread panic. So far,44 people have been confirmed dead in this horrific incident. More than 300 are missing. The fire was so severe that its flames engulfed seven buildings.
A large number of people were injured. Some are in critical condition,which could increase the death toll. According to a report,the fire broke out at 2:15 pm on Wednesday,with flames visible from several kilometres away.
Various efforts are being made by various teams,including the fire department,to extinguish the fire,but the situation does not appear to be improving. The flames emanating from the buildings and the plume of smoke in the sky are spreading panic.

The fire brigade is making vigorous efforts to extinguish the fire. Fire brigade teams have rescued hundreds of people so far. Operations are still underway to control the fire and evacuate trapped residents. The Tai Po area,the site of the fire,is located in northern Hong Kong,near the border with the major Chinese city of Shenzhen.
