New Delhi: Heavy rains in the capital, Delhi, on Saturday brought relief to people from the heat. Due to heavy rains, the water could not be drained from the drains, resulting in the roads being waterlogged. Due to waterlogging, pedestrians faced difficulties. Rain alert in these parts of Kerala

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in many areas of Kerala. Heavy rains are expected in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki. Apart from these, an orange alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Thrissur, Malappuram, and Wayanad. An appeal has been made to exercise caution due to the possibility of lightning.

According to the Meteorological Department, apart from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, heavy rain warnings have been issued in the hilly states of Uttarakhand. Additionally, torrential rain is also expected in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to heavy rains, landslides are also visible in the hilly areas. Even yesterday, due to heavy rains, incidents such as landslides occurred, blocking many routes.

Rain in Madhya Pradesh

Monsoon rains in Madhya Pradesh have become a problem for the people. Today, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms have been predicted in Alirajpur, Tikamgarh, Neemuch, Sehore, Dhar, Harda, and Barwani districts. A heavy rain warning has been issued for Alirajpur, Jhabua, Balaghat, Mandla, and Dhar in the next 24 hours.

Alert for many states too

The weather department has predicted rain with thunderstorms in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in many places in Maharashtra, Goa, and Kerala. A rain alert has been issued for all states in the Northeast.
