WhatsApp New Features: If you are a user, then there is good news for you: now you can logout of WhatsApp without deleting your chat or data. Yes, soon users can uninstall the app without uninstalling the app or without deleting their chat history.
According to the information in the recent beta release, this feature can give users control over how and when to use the messaging platform. It will be brought especially for those users who want to take a digital break or want to switch between multiple accounts.
A new report from Android Authority with tipster AssembleDebug has revealed that Android users have discovered a logout function in the new beta version (v2.25.17.37) of WhatsApp. Currently, work is going on on this feature. It was seen in the Settings> Account menu of the app. However, it is not yet visible to common users.
Three options will be available
Three different options are expected to be available for the logout feature on WhatsApp. The first of which is “Erase All Data and Preferences,” which will remove the entire chat history and user settings from the device. The second is “Keep All Data and Preferences,” which will allow users to log out of the account by saving all their chats, media files, and personal settings. This makes it easy to use later without losing data. The third is “Cancel,” which will logout without any changes.
If you keep your data saved, then it can come back to the account again. That is, as soon as youu log in, you can get access to stored messages and files. This feature is different from the currently available feature. For this, users will have to temporarily stop using WhatsApp or delete their account completely.
It will be started for beta testers
With the arrival of the logout button, WhatsApp has also become like other messaging apps. This can be very useful, especially for users managing multiple accounts who need to toggle between personal and professional. However, no official information has been given by Meta yet as to when this feature will come. But it is expected to be launched for beta testers first.
You will get a great experience
Let us tell you that by giving users the option to log out without deleting the data, users will get a friendly experience. Whether you want a social media detox or want to switch accounts without losing your chat, then this upcoming logout feature can be of great use to you, for which you will have to wait a little bit now.
