Vivo Y500 Launch: Vivo has finally confirmed that Vivo Y500 is going to be launched in China on 1 September 2025. Indian fans can also get its launch date in this event. This phone is a direct successor of Vivo Y300 and from what has been confirmed so far, it seems that Vivo is focusing fully on battery life and rugged durability this time.

The biggest highlight of Vivo Y500 is its big 8,200mAh battery – the biggest battery that has been given in any Vivo phone till now. The company says that this battery will be extremely long-lasting, meaning it will keep running throughout the day even after heavy use. 90W fast charging is also expected, so even such a big battery will charge quickly.

No competition in strength

Y500 is also going to be the top in terms of durability. Vivo has confirmed that the phone will have IP68, IP69 and IP69+ ratings, meaning it will not be affected by dust and water, even in extreme conditions. It has also received SGS Gold Label five-star certification for drop and impact resistance. In simple words, this will be one of the strongest and toughest phones from Vivo.

Performance and Display

Vivo has not yet officially revealed anything about the processor, but leaks are saying that the phone will have MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which will be quite an upgrade from the previous model. Along with this, you will get a flat OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, which will make scrolling, gaming and streaming all smooth and fun.

Camera and Design

The camera setup also looks quite solid – 50MP dual rear camera and 8MP selfie camera are expected. Talking about the design, you will get a punch-hole display and a pitch circular camera module. The color options will be Black, Blue and Violet, so there will be choices for style lovers too.
