Vivo X300 Pro Mini: Vivo is set to shake up the compact flagship market yet again with its new X300 Pro Mini. Leaked information recently uncovered some of the main specs of the phone and showed that they will feature some quite significant upgrades over the previous model. The phone will pair a sleek, flat design with considerable performance and usability enhancements.
Flat Display with Symmetrical Bezels
The X300 Pro Mini is said to have a 6.3-inch flat screen with symmetrical bezels, eschewing the curved-edge design of most high-end phones. This is consistent with its predecessor, the X200 Pro Mini, which also avoided excessive and unnecessary design for a simple and functional look. There is no mention yet of refresh rate or resolution, but Vivo should keep the LTPO AMOLED screen panel with HDR10+ support and 120Hz to not sacrifice flagship-quality screens.
Gigantic 7,000mAh Battery for All-Day Use
Perhaps the largest reveal in the leak is the huge battery boost. The Vivo X300 Pro Mini is rumored to come with a 7,000mAh battery, a large jump from the 5,700mAh battery in the X200 Pro Mini. For a phone this size, this is a huge battery, and it indicates Vivo is aiming at users looking for flagship-grade performance without compromising on long battery life. This step also places the device in front of some larger phones in terms of battery life.
Camera Setup Parallel to X200 Pro Mini
In the camera department, Vivo will likely remain faithful to a tried and tested formula. The X300 Pro Mini will supposedly inherit the same camera setup as the earlier model, which includes the highlight periscope zoom lens. The earlier generation had a triple 50MP Zeiss-tagged arrangement with a 32MP ultrawide selfie camera supporting 4K video recording. Although no camera update has been officially confirmed, the carryover of Zeiss lenses would remain equally competitive nonetheless.
Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner Added
The other significant shift is in the biometric authentication module. The X300 Pro Mini is expected to abandon the conventional optical fingerprint reader in favor of an ultrasonic under-display reader. This should provide quicker and more precise unlocking, even with wet or greasy fingers, a real-world benefit that enhances day-to-day usability.
Estimated Launch Timeline and Summary
Although Vivo has not made an official announcement on the release date, the X300 Pro Mini will probably be released in October 2025, following the company’s typical release trend. The recent leaks are consistent with previous leaks that also stated the improved battery and display specifications.
