Vivo V50 Elite Edition: Vivo will release a new member of its popular V50 series in India. Vivo officially announced that the Vivo V50 Elite Edition will be available for sale on May 15. A short teaser video gives us a sneak peek at the design of the new phone, which has a distinctive camera module and highlights the premium nature of this edition. The new phone will hit the market in the country only a month after the Vivo V50e was put up for sale.

Vivo V50 Elite Edition India Launch Details

The Vivo V50 Elite Edition will be launched in India on May 15 at 12pm IST, as per Vivo’s press release. The teaser video discloses the phone with the tagline “Elite Edition” emblazoned in the place below its back camera, distinguishable from the regular model. Unlike the entry-level Vivo V50 featuring a pill-shaped module camera, Elite Edition will use a circular type. This move is indicative of a new trend without sacrificing the general elegance of the V50 line.

Anticipated Features of Vivo V50 Elite Edition

Although the company hasn’t officially revealed the whole spec sheet, the Elite Edition would probably feature most of the aspects found in the regular Vivo V50. That includes it maybe featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging. A dual rear camera setup of Zeiss badging featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP front sensor will also reportedly be included in the box. All these premium specs hint at a hardcore performance and camera experience.

Vivo V50 Specifications Overview

The initial Vivo V50, launched in February, features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is powered by Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15. The smartphone is equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It also has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. With its powerful hardware and beautiful design, the Vivo V50 has been popular among users.

Variants and Vivo V50 Price

The Vivo V50 first came out in three storage options: 8GB + 128GB for ₹34,999, 8GB + 256GB for ₹36,999, and 12GB + 512GB for ₹40,999. The phone comes in trendy colour options of Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey. With the Elite Edition, Vivo can quite aptly adopt this premium pricing, maybe with a bit more finesse in terms of design and user interface.

Vivo V50e Also Recently Introduced

Before the Elite Edition, Vivo already released the V50e back in April. It was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and came with a 5,600mAh battery. Its launch had already augmented the V50 series in India, and now the Elite Edition will also bolster Vivo’s footing in the premium mid-range space.
