Design & Style
The look of both the phones is premium, but V60 has a new charm. The combo of curved AMOLED display, slim bezels and IP68/IP69 rating is rare even today. Vivo has given the V60 the tag of “slimmest 6500mAh battery phone” in the market, which is quite impressive. It feels very sleek in the hand, and the feel of using premium material is of a different level.
Display & Visuals
The Vivo V50 already had a big 6.77-inch AMOLED display, with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The size has reduced slightly to 6.67-inch in the V60, but there is no compromise in quality. The smoothness of 120Hz, deep blacks of AMOLED and crispy visuals are fun in gaming, movies, scrolling – everything. Colors pop and outdoor visibility is also strong.
Performance & Processor
Here the V60 has turned on full power mode. The V50 had Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which was quite fast. But the V60 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which delivers around 27% faster CPU and 30% better GPU performance. This means higher FPS in gaming, zero lag in multitasking and smooth performance in the long term. This upgrade is a big deal for hardcore gamers and performance lovers.
Camera Setup
The dual 50MP camera setup of the V50 was already good, but the V60 has upgraded the whole camera game along with the name of ZEISS. Now there is a triple camera system – 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The addition of a telephoto lens is quite rare in this price segment, and the detail in zoom shots is quite sharp. For selfie lovers, the 50MP front camera has been kept the same, which was already quite impressive.
Features & Tech
Both get Android 15 based Funtouch OS 15, but the V60 has a new AI twist – Google Gemini AI features like Gemini Live and AI smart call assistant. These AI tools add smartness to day-to-day work, like live conversation help, automatic summaries and smart reply suggestions.
Battery & Charging
The 6000mAh battery of the V50 was strong, but the V60 boosted it further to 6500mAh. Both have 90W FlashCharge fast charging, which fills the battery quickly. The battery backup of V60 can easily last for 1.5–2 days with moderate use and even with heavy use, it can last for a full day tension-free.
Price & Variants
The starting price of Vivo V50 is ₹34,999, while the expected price of V60 can be between ₹37,000 to ₹40,000. It is definitely a bit expensive, but considering performance, camera and battery upgrades, paying the extra money seems worth it.
What Real Users Say
V50 users’ feedback had a lot of appreciation for display, battery and camera, but people wanted a zoom camera and better performance. V60 has fixed both these things. Early testers say the AI features and periscope lens set it apart in the market.
Final Verdict
If you’re using the V50 and plan to upgrade, the V60 is a safe bet. The processor is fast, the camera is versatile, the battery is big, and the AI features make it future-ready. You may have to pay a little more, but the features you get are well worth the money.
