Vivo T4R 5G: Vivo has officially released its new smartphone Vivo T4R 5G, in India. The device arrives with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip and a high-res 50MP main rear camera with the Sony IMX882 sensor for enhanced photography.

Design and Core Similarities with iQOO Z10R

At first glance, Vivo T4R 5G is nearly indistinguishable from the recently launched iQOO Z10R, with both a similar curved-edged design and interior specs. Though the features do crossover to a certain degree, Vivo also added distinctive touches to set it apart from its iQOO cousin.

Curved AMOLED Display and Build Quality

Vivo T4R 5G comes with a trendy and slimmer look and is now the thinnest quad-curved phone in its segment. It boasts a 6.77-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The display also comes with HDR10+ support and SGS certification for low blue light for gentler eyes during prolonged usage.

Hardware and Software Configuration

Under the bonnet, the smartphone is driven by a Dimensity 7400 processor for heavy day-to-day performance and gaming. It supports up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB inbuilt UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 15 operating system with Vivo’s proprietary FuntouchOS 15 skin for additional features and optimisations.

Camera Features and Video Features

The rear camera module is loaded with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main lens and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh. The phone features a 32MP front selfie shooter at the front. The front as well as rear cameras are capable of capturing 4K video, which is interesting for content creators.

Huge Battery with IP Grades

Powering the phone is a massive 5,700mAh battery, ensuring extensive screen time with a single charge. Vivo T4R 5G is also water and dust resistant, featuring IP68 and IP69 ratings for an added degree of ruggedness in extreme conditions.

Comparison with iQOO Z10R

Though the T4R and Z10R look and feel identical, they differ in certain ways. The T4R is supported by 44W fast charging and is available in Arctic White and Twilight Blue. But the iQOO Z10R supports 90W fast charging and is available in two colors, Aquamarine and Moonstone.

Price and Availability in India

The Vivo T4R 5G will go on sale from August 5 on Flipkart, Vivo’s official website, and Vivo retail stores. The phone comes with a starting price tag of ₹17,499 for the 8GB + 128GB model, ₹19,499 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and ₹21,499 for the top-end 12GB + 256GB model.
