Now talking about the impact of this move, mobile experts believe that this plan of Vi can prove to be a big setback for Jio and Airtel. Especially when people are fed up with expensive recharge plans. If Vi can give such a strong plan for ₹ 299, then even cheaper plans (like 5G data for ₹ 199) can come in the coming time.
In such a situation, it is very possible that customers who were connected to Jio and Airtel till now, will now turn to Vi. A government company like BSNL has not been able to provide 5G service yet, so Vi is emerging as a strong option.
