Two Budget 5G Smartphones Launching : Either of those two affordable 5G celebrities on the block, the Tecno Pova Curve 5G and Lava Bold N1 Pro for India recently, are both quite exciting to launch soon. Both these devices will launch simultaneously on May 29, 2025, with pretty decent specifications at a fair price. So let’s get straight to the specifications.

Tecno Pova Curve 5G

It is a very good 6.78 inches AMOLED, a really big curved screen. The display is full HD+ and has a 120Hz refresh rate, giving you a viewing and gaming experience that is blissful.

And under it, the 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor runs. It operates with 6GB of RAM, expandable to 12GB as virtual RAM, and has 128GB for storage for all the apps and pictures.

It’s not bad by these standards; however, the main camera at the rear is the 64MP rear camera; it gives that cool look where it forms a triangle on the rear, while for the front selfie camera, there’s a 13MP, which takes better shots.

A good 5500 mAh battery, with 45W fast charging, so you wouldn’t have it charging for hours.

Some other additional features Tecno has loaded in the form of AI include AI Privacy Blurring, AI Call Assistant, and a couple of smart multi-language supports. The phone is up to around ₹14,990 and is likely to be available on Flipkart.

Lava Bold N1 Pro

Again, the Lava Bold N1 Pro remains an affordable 5G mobile device priced under ₹12,000. It has a 6.67-inch LCD offering HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Though it’s not AMOLED, it gives a very smoothness of scrolling for everyday tasks.

The running processor from Lava is the 5G MediaTek Dimensity 6020. It comes with a little 4GB of RAM extendable until 8GB using the virtual RAM option. The device has a standard 128GB internal storage, and it also has an SD card slot for expansion.

The camera features three rear cameras with 50 MP primary, 2 MP depth, and 2 MP macro along with a selfie capture of 8 MP and LED flash for low-light capability.

This smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with fast charging at 18W. Other features include an IP53 water-resistant rating, a side-mounted fingerprint, and a headphone jack available on Amazon.
