Tecno Spark Go 5G: Tecno has officially unveiled its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Spark Go 5G, in India. Aimed at offering 5G connectivity at an affordable price, the device packs a large battery, a high-resolution camera, and a slim, stylish design all for under ₹10,000.
Priced at ₹9,999, the Tecno Spark Go 5G comes in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will be available for purchase starting August 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST via Flipkart and major retail stores across the country. Buyers will get to choose from four colors — Ink Black, Sky Blue, Turquoise Green, and a heritage-inspired Bikaner Red. As part of the launch campaign, Tecno is also running a pre-booking offer with prizes from a pool worth over ₹1 crore.
On the hardware front, the Spark Go 5G sports a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with Tecno’s “Dynamic Port” feature that displays notifications around the punch-hole camera cutout. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, ensuring decent performance along with full 5G connectivity for the budget segment.
In terms of cameras, the phone offers a 50MP AI-enhanced main rear camera alongside a secondary sensor, while the front is equipped with a 5MP selfie shooter. The rear camera supports 2K video recording at 30fps. Storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD slot, giving users more flexibility.
Battery life is another strong point, with the Spark Go 5G housing a massive 6,000mAh battery — one of the largest in its segment — supported by 18W fast charging over USB Type-C. Despite this, Tecno claims it’s the slimmest and lightest 5G phone in India with such a large battery.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and software enhancements like the “No Network Communication” mode and Tecno’s localized Ella AI assistant. The phone runs Android 15 with Tecno’s HiOS 15 skin on top.
