Tecno:At MWC 2025, Tecno announced their next line of smartphones. Three phones in the Camon 40 series have been released by the company. AI features and a one-tap quick button for photography are included with all four phones. Every phone in the Camon 40 series has a strong MediaTek processor and fast charging. This series was unveiled by the firm at the Mobile World Congress. They will soon be offered for sale in a few markets.
Launch of the Camon 40 series
This series was revealed by Tecno via its official X handle. This series includes the introduction of the Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G. Pre-orders for these phones will be available starting next week. Many of the characteristics of the phones in this series have not yet been revealed by the company.

Every phone in Techno’s mid-range smartphone line has a 50MP selfie camera. These are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity processors, which facilitate quick charging and AI imaging capabilities. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset powers this series’ Camon 40 Premier smartphone. With 12GB of RAM, it can accommodate up to 256GB of internal storage.
In addition to being IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistant, the three phones in this series—the Camon 40 Premier 5G, Camon 40 Pro, and Camon 40 Pro 5G—are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Simultaneously, IP66 capability is added to the Camon 40 standard model. Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers, and an AMOLED display are all supported by these phones.
Every model in this series has an AI imaging tool and a 50MP selfie camera. The 50MP Sony LYT-701 primary camera, 50MP ultra wide, and 50MP telephoto cameras are all included in the Camon 40 Premier. There is a special one-tap photography button on this phone. This phone can record videos in 4K quality at 60 frames per second.
