Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Fold smartphone launched earlier this month. A recent rumor indicates that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will happen in July, even though the South Korean tech giant has not yet released a public statement about the launch date. During the launch event, Samsung will also likely unveil the new Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Watch 8 range.
As per tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), Samsung will host the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, according to X. As per reports, the event would start at 10:00 am EDT (7:30 pm IST). a few early rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event would be held in New York.
The latest leak suggests that Samsung will continue to hold its summer Galaxy Unpacked event during the early July launch window. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were introduced by the company on July 10 of last year.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: What to expect
Samsung has already teased the coming of its new foldables. It has been announced that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have enhanced privacy features and AI technologies. The “thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldables yet” are the claims made for the new line. The Exynos 2500 chipset is probably going to power the clamshell foldable, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset might power the book-style foldable.
In addition, the company is expected to put out the standard Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 along with an inexpensive Fan Edition (FE) version of the device. It is also expected that the Galaxy Unpacked event would mark the launch of the Galaxy Watch 8 series, which is expected to feature the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) variants.
Also, a number of rumors indicate that Samsung will attend the debut with its audio wearables, such as the Galaxy Buds Core and Galaxy Buds 3 FE. During the event, the brand is also rumored to tease its tri-fold phone, Project Mohan, and its first XR headset.
