Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Leaks: People eagerly wait for Samsung’s Galaxy S series every year, especially the Ultra model, which is the company’s most premium and powerful phone. But for the last few years it seems as if the company is launching new models with only small upgrades. Just look at the Galaxy S25 Ultra – a slight change in design, a new ultrawide camera and a new processor, this was the only change compared to the S24 Ultra.

Now all eyes are on the Galaxy S26 Ultra coming in early 2026. People were hoping that something big would happen this time – especially regarding battery and charging. Earlier there were reports that Samsung would use high-density silicon-carbon battery technology this time, which would see a big jump in both battery capacity and charging. But now the new leak that has surfaced may disappoint the fans a bit.

New leaks deepened the suspense even more

According to the new information given by tipster @PandaFlashPro on X, the final decision on the battery of Galaxy S26 Ultra has not been taken yet. But the battery that is being tested at the moment is less than 5,400mAh. Now if this battery is finalized, then once again Samsung can come with a 5,000mAh battery in its Ultra phone.

It is not that 5,000mAh is a bad battery. The battery of Galaxy S25 Ultra is also performing well in the battery drain test so far. But when other companies are showing strength with 6,000mAh or even larger silicon-carbon batteries, Samsung fans were also hoping that this time something new and bigger would be available. And not only the battery, many brands are now coming with better and more efficient chipsets, which makes their overall backup much better.

The story of charging speed is also not very special

While other Chinese brands are now offering 80W or more wire charging and up to 50W wireless charging, Samsung is still stuck at 25W or 45W wire charging and only 15W wireless charging. Calling it ‘fast charging’ in 2025 becomes a bit difficult.

Some reports also said that this time 65W wire charging can be found in Galaxy S26 Ultra, which raised hopes that Samsung will now at least make changes in terms of charging. But now the same tipster is saying that “no 65W” – that is, it is confirmed that that facility is not going to be available. Yes, it is certain that there may be a slight increase in charging – like up to 50W – but it will not be considered a major change.

Still it will be ‘The Best Galaxy Ever’ in marketing

Amidst all these expectations and rumors, one thing is certain – when the Galaxy S26 Ultra is launched, Samsung will again promote it as its “best Galaxy phone”. Like every year, this time too the company’s focus will be on camera quality, display technology and software optimization, and perhaps we will get to see some new things in these fields.

Now it remains to be seen what more leaks come out in the coming months, and whether Samsung really gives something new this time or again launches the next Ultra model with just minor changes. Whatever it is, the discussions about the S26 Ultra have already heated up – and they are going to get even more intense in the coming days!
