Samsung Galaxy M36 5G: Samsung has launched another new smartphone in its popular M-series – Samsung Galaxy M36 5G. This phone is specially designed for those users who want a strong performance, great camera and premium look – that too in budget. Although there is a small mistake in its design, which some people may not like, but in terms of features, this phone has emerged as a real player in the mid-range segment.

Design and Look

First of all, let’s talk about its design – Samsung has kept the Galaxy M36 5G very thin. Its thickness is only 7.7mm, which makes it one of the slimmest M-series smartphones ever. Its back panel comes with a clean matte finish, which gives it a soft and premium feel. The camera setup is also stylishly placed vertically.

The phone comes in three new color options – Orange Haze, Serene Green and Velvet Black. These colors are very fresh and youthful. Its frame is made of plastic, but it gives a premium feel to look at and hold.

Display

The Galaxy M36 5G has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen is bright, colorful and very good in terms of outdoor visibility. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection is provided on top, which also protects the phone from scratches and falls to a great extent.

But there is one thing here that can be a little disappointing – this time Samsung has again used a waterdrop notch instead of a punch-hole design. The previous model Galaxy M35 had a punch-hole, which gives a more modern and premium feel. Although the notch does not affect the functionality, it looks a bit old.

Camera

This phone has a lot to offer for photography enthusiasts. There is a 50MP primary camera on the back, which has OIS i.e. Optical Image Stabilization, so that the photo does not blur even in low light and while walking. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera, which will give you great pictures from every angle.

A 13MP front camera has been provided for selfies. The biggest thing is that 4K video recording can be done from both the front and rear cameras – which is very rare to find in this price range. There is also an Auto Night Mode with this which improves the video quality at night.

Galaxy AI and Smart Features

Samsung has also included its AI technology in the Galaxy M36 5G. It has Google’s new Circle to Search feature, which can instantly search any photo or thing present on the screen. It also has Gemini Live and Samsung’s own Galaxy AI, which offers smart features like AI Select which suggest smart actions based on the things visible on the screen.

Performance and Software

The phone is powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, which is a reliable and powerful chipset. This phone also has a Vapour Cooling Chamber, so that the phone does not heat up even on long-term heavy usage.

The Galaxy M36 5G runs on Android 15 out of the box, which features Samsung’s new One UI 7 interface. The company has promised that this phone will continue to receive Android updates for 6 years and security patches for 6 years – making it perfect for long-term use.

Battery and Charging

The phone has a 5000mAh battery, which can easily last all day once fully charged. It supports 25W fast charging, but one thing to note – the charger is not provided in the box, you will have to buy it separately.

Price and Availability

The MRP of Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is ₹22,999, but under the launch offer, you can buy it for just ₹16,499 – that too including bank offers. This phone will be available on Amazon India, Samsung India’s online store and other retail outlets from July 12.
