Design & Style

First of all, talking about the design, the Galaxy A15 5G comes with a basic look in which a plastic frame and a back panel have been given. But the A16 5G has got a slight design improvement. It is also lighter and feels more sleek. Talking about the A17 5G, it can be seen with a new punch-hole style front camera display, which feels a bit modern compared to the old waterdrop notch design. Along with this, IP54 rating is also available in A16 and A17, which gives protection from light dust and water.

Display & Visuals

The Tino phones have been given AMOLED display in which vibrant colors and deep blacks are available. The A15 has a 6.5-inch display, while the A16 and A17 have a slightly larger 6.7-inch panel. Along with this, all the phones have 90Hz refresh rate, so you will enjoy smooth scrolling in all the phones. Overall, A16 and A17 look a bit more attractive due to their display size and IP54 rating.

Performance & Processor

Now talking about performance, A15 5G has MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, which is an entry-level 5G chip. It is good for day-to-day tasks and light gaming. A16 5G has two different variants – some markets have Exynos 1330, while some have MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Both are more powerful than A15. The A17 5G will get Exynos 1330, which is the same chipset as the A16. This means that the A16 and A17 will be almost similar in performance. RAM and storage: The three phones have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage options.

Camera Setup

The A15 and A16 have a similar setup in terms of camera – 50MP primary sensor, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. Both have 13MP front cameras for selfies. But the A17 gets a slight upgrade – the same 50MP primary sensor but with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), which makes photos and videos more stable. Along with this, 12MP ultrawide and 32MP front selfie camera can be given. So if you find camera important, then A17 will be a better choice.

Features & Tech

Talking about software and updates, A15 comes with Android 14 and One UI 6, and there is a promise of 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches. A16 and A17 will get support for One UI 6.1 and One UI 7 along with Android 14 and 15. Both have been promised 6 years of OS updates and security support, which is a big thing in this price range. A17 also has support for up to 2TB microSD card.

Battery & Charging

The battery is similar to that of Tino phones – a big 5000mAh battery that easily lasts more than a day. 25W fast charging is also available in all the phones. But the charger does not come in the box, you will have to buy it separately. Tino phones are dependable in terms of battery backup.

Price & Variants

A15 5G is the most budget-friendly model, which is usually available between ₹15,000 – ₹17,000. A16 5G is a bit premium, in the range of ₹18,000 – ₹20,000. The price of A17 5G in Europe has been kept at €239, which can be around ₹24,000 in the Indian market. Variants ranging from 4GB/128GB to 8GB/256GB will also be available.

What Real Users Say

People who are already using A15 or A16 say that the display and battery life are the best in this price range. A16 users liked IP54 and slightly better performance a lot. Due to the new launch of A17, people are excited, especially for selfie lovers who are waiting for 32MP front camera.

Final Verdict

If your budget is tight and you want a phone for basic usage, then the A15 5G will be right for you. If you can invest a little more and want better display, IP rating and long-term software support, then the A16 5G offers the best value. But if you want the latest features – like OIS camera, better selfie experience, and Android 15 out of the box – then the A17 5G can be a solid upgrade.

Every phone has its own charm, it is just important to understand what you want to prioritize – performance, camera, or price!
