The tablet is now officially set to launch in India on January 6, 2026. The tablet will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor, and it may get up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which will also be expandable up to 1TB. Price & Availability
Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet was initially launched in select global markets on September 24, 2025, and now it will be officially launched in India on January 6, 2026. It will be available for purchase in India via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Xiaomi official website after the launch event.
The expected price for the 6GB RAM plus 128GB variant of the tablet is approximately ₹26,311, and the 8GB RAM plus 256GB variant will be priced around ₹33,966.
Camera Setup and Battery Pack
In the rear section of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet, you may get an 8MP main camera with autofocus and flash, whereas in front it is expected to feature an 8MP selfie camera. Apart from that, it has a 12000mAh battery pack, which provides you a battery backup of up to 3 days on normal usage, and it is claimed as the world’s largest battery on a 12.1-inch tablet.
It also supports 33W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, so you can also charge your other devices and use your tablet as a power bank.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet is equipped with a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5K resolution, and it has a 120Hz refresh rate which provides smooth scrolling. Apart from that, it features 500 nits peak brightness which provides decent visibility, and it has Dolby Vision support.
