Realme’s 15,000mAh Concept Phone: The end of August 2025 is going to be very exciting for smartphone lovers, as Realme has teased a phone that can break the record of the biggest smartphone batteries till now. This phone is a concept device, meaning it will not be commercially available initially, but Realme’s aim to showcase it is to show how far it has advanced in its battery technology. The company plans to have the unveiling event of this phone on 27 August 2025, during Realme’s annual 828 Fan Festival.
Expected Features and Specifications
The biggest highlight of this phone is its 15,000 mAh battery. Yes, you heard it right – 15,000 mAh! This is almost double the battery capacities of current commercial smartphones. According to Realme, this battery can last up to 5 days in typical usage and will provide up to 50 hours of playback if you watch videos continuously.
Fitting this massive battery in the phone was not a simple task but Realme is using silicon-anode battery technology for this. Because of this technology the size and weight of the phone is not too bulky yet the energy density is quite high. Meaning, the phone will not be as heavy or big as you might be thinking.
Charging is also another wow factor of this phone. According to rumours, this phone will support 320W fast charging. If this is true, then such a big battery can be charged in just a few minutes, which has not been seen in any commercial smartphone till now.
Talking about the design, Realme has ensured that the phone does not look bulky. The teasers show a slim profile of the phone and the rear panel is semi-transparent where “15000mAh” is clearly highlighted. This design idea looks quite attractive and maintains the aesthetics of the phone along with the battery size.
