Realme has confirmed the official launch date for the Realme 16T 5G smartphone in India. The smartphone will launch on May 22, 2026, and is expected to focus heavily on battery life, gaming, and long-term durability.

The company has already revealed several key specifications and design details ahead of launch, including its massive 8000mAh battery, 45W fast charging support, and colour options. The smartphone will arrive as the latest addition to the Realme 16 series lineup.

Realme 16T 5G India Launch Date Confirmed

The Realme 16T 5G will officially launch in India on May 22 at 12 PM according to the company. The smartphone will be available after launch through Flipkart, the official realme India website, and offline retail stores.

The smartphone will launch in three colour options including Starlight Black, Starlight Red, and Aurora Green.

Massive 8000mAh Battery

The Realme 16T 5G features its most important aspect which is its 8000mAh Titan Battery. Realme claims the smartphone can deliver up to three days of battery life on a single charge under regular usage conditions.

The company states that its product can provide the following features:

• The system enables approximately 34 hours of social media use
• The system provides almost 21.9 hours of navigation time
• The system maintains 60FPS gaming performance in BGMI for 11 hours.

7-Year Battery Health Technology

The smartphone provides 45W wired fast charging together with bypass charging and reverse wired charging and advanced temperature management capabilities.

The upcoming smartphone release from Realme introduces its “7-Year Battery Health” technology as a new feature. The feature uses advanced battery management algorithms to extend battery lifespan and deliver stable performance throughout multiple years of use according to reports.
