Poco X8 Pro: India may soon see the release of the Poco X8 Pro. An alleged Indian version of the Poco X8 Pro was seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website before the Xiaomi sub-brand made a public statement. It is said to have an IP68-rated design for water and dust protection and a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. A 6.5-inch screen and 100W fast charging are possible features of the phone. It is expected that the Redmi Turbo 5 would be rebranded as the Poco X8 Pro.
On December 8, a new Poco smartphone with model number 2511FPC34I and registration number R-91005720 was released on the BIS certification website. The Poco X8 Pro is thought to be connected to this model number. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) noticed the listing. This suggests that its the opening in India is soon, even if it does not provide any details.
Poco X8 Pro Expected Features
The Redmi Turbo 5, which is only available in China, is expected to be revived as the Poco X8 Pro. Based on reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor powers the phone. It might have a 6.67-inch AMOLED LTPS screen with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additionally, it is reported to include an IP68-rated construction, a metal frame, and an 8,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging.
Poco expects that this phone will include two back cameras: an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel primary camera. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner is allegedly included. Early next year, the Redmi Turbo 5 is anticipated to make its formal debut in China. The Poco X8 series might soon go on sale worldwide.
In India, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to run more over ₹30,000. In January of this year, the 8GB + 256GB version of the Poco X7 Pro 5G arrived to the Indian market at ₹27,999. Its 6.73-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED screen has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It has a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 20-megapixel front camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor. It has a 6,550mAh battery that supports 90W HyperCharge.
