The brand has now shared its launch timeline, making this upcoming release one of the most talked-about announcements in the Android tablet space.

Launch Time

According to promotional material that has just been put out, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be officially launched on December 17 in India, Europe, and the UK. The device will arrive alongside the OnePlus 15R, adding to the excitement about the announcement among fans of the company. The original OnePlus Pad Go came out in 2023, and over two years later, users are finally going to see its sequel.

Design and Colors

The new OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be available in two color options: Purple and Black. The design features a flat frame with speaker grilles on both sides, along with a single rear camera. Unlike the previous Pad Go, which sported a centered camera, this one has a top-left corner camera placement similar to the layout seen on the iPad 11th Gen. This small shift gives the tablet a more modern and premium appearance.

Key Features and Upgrades

The most prominent addition is the 5G connectivity, which makes the OnePlus Pad Go 2 with 5G support a significant jump from its predecessor. Meanwhile, the earlier model introduced a Helio G99 processor with only 4G support, this new one is expected to boast either a MediaTek Dimensity chipset or a Snapdragon processor capable of high-speed mobile internet. It will pack 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, though OnePlus has yet to confirm other configurations.

Stylus Compatibility and Expected Add-Ons

It has also been confirmed by OnePlus that the tablet will support the OnePlus Stylo, giving users better productivity and creative options. However, details about keyboard support remain unknown. As usual, OnePlus is expected to reveal more features through teasers leading up to the launch.
