Nothing Phone 3: Nothing Phone 3 is coming to make a splash in the market soon. CEO Carl Pei himself has hinted that the Nothing Phone 3 is going to launch soon. At this time, many new rumors and leaks related to the phone have surfaced. Earlier this week, Nothing presented a brief teaser of the upcoming Phone 3 during The Android Show, hinting that it could be its most ambitious release yet. The company described the phone as its first ‘two’ flagship device, which will be better in both performance and design than its previous model. Nothing also hinted that the Phone 3 will come with a premium price tag.
However, the company has not yet shared any concrete details about the specifications and features of the phone. But a recent leak suggests that its camera skills and battery capacity will be much better than the previous model i.e. Nothing Phone 2. Let’s know what will be special in the upcoming phone…
Nothing Phone 3 will be more powerful than Phone 2
According to Smartprix’s report, the Nothing Phone 3 has recently been spotted on the GSM database under the model number ‘A024’, which hints that its development is progressing rapidly.
Citing sources, the report states that the Phone 3 will have a largely redesigned camera system, which is a significant upgrade over the previous model. This new setup is said to include three camera sensors, one of which could be a large periscope-style telephoto lens. This should not be surprising, as the Nothing Phone 3a series and CMF Phone 2 Pro also have a triple camera setup. Let us tell you that the Nothing Phone 2 has a dual rear camera system and a single sensor on the front. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor.
In terms of battery life, Nothing is reportedly planning a slight increase in capacity, with the Phone 3 expected to feature a battery with a capacity of slightly more than 5000mAh. For comparison, the Phone 2 had a 4700mAh battery, while both the Nothing Phone 3a Pro and the CMF Phone 2 have a maximum battery of 5000mAh.
Interestingly, the Phone 3 is also likely to launch with Android 15, though Android 16 may also be available by the time the device reaches consumers. This could be a hint at a focus on stability and optimization rather than chasing the latest version of the operating system.
Overall, while official specifications are still not revealed, these early leaks suggest that the Phone 3 is a notable step up in Nothing’s smartphone lineup. But it would be better to wait for official details for the exact details.
This is how much the Nothing Phone 3 could cost
The launch of the Nothing Phone 3 is imminent, as CEO Carl Pei has now shared initial details about its expected price. While he hasn’t revealed pricing for all regions, Pei has given an idea of how much we might have to pay for the upcoming phone.
In a recent video published by the Android YouTube channel, Pei revealed that the Phone 3 will cost “around 800 euros”, which is roughly $1063 in the US and around Rs 90,500 in India at the current exchange rate. This is a big jump from the price of the Nothing Phone 2, which was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 44,999. Such a hike in price – almost double – could disappoint those who were hoping for a more affordable upgrade.
Nothing is said to have been working on the Phone 3 for the past two years, with the company repeatedly focusing on delivering a refined AI-powered experience and overall high-end performance. Whether consumers will embrace this new pricing strategy remains to be seen, but it is clear that Nothing is aiming to enhance its position in the premium smartphone market with the launch of the Phone 3.
