Acer has launched two new tablets under its Iconia series for price-sensitive users. The latest models, Iconia V12 and Iconia V11, introduce a combination of chic looks, bright high-definition screens, and long battery life. Both the tablets are powered by the latest Android update and loaded with useful features for everyday multimedia and productivity use. Here’s all you need to know about these new launches.
Iconia V12 Display and Design
Acer Iconia V12 is distinguished by the height of its 12-inch LCD screen that provides a 2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is based on a 16:10 aspect ratio, which makes it perfect for viewing content and productivity. The tablet also features a thin 7.9mm frame and magnetic folio case and optional stylus support, providing an extra touch of convenience for users who opt for portability and fashion.
Iconia V11 Display and Design
The Iconia V11 has a comparatively smaller 11-inch LCD screen but keeps the same 16:10 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Even though its resolution is lesser at FHD+, it still guarantees a lively and responsive screen experience. Similar to the V12, this tablet also has a slim design with a thickness of only 7.9mm and has similar accessories.
Performance and Storage on Both Models
Both V12 and V11 tablets are driven by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Both devices provide up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Users also have the option to add storage up to 1TB via the dedicated microSD card slot. This makes sure the tablets are able to multitask on a daily basis without sweating.
Camera Setup and Audio Features
The tablets are fitted with an 8MP primary camera for everyday photography and scanning purposes, and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. Dual stereo speakers add to the multimedia fun, thus making the tablets perfect for use both at work and play.
Battery and Software
Both models are powered by a huge 8000mAh battery, which guarantees up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge. This sees the devices suitable for on-the-go consumers. The tablets are shipped with the latest version of Android, which has a clean and minimalist user interface.
Pricing and Availability
Acer has set the Iconia V11 at 229 Euros, and it will be on sale starting from August 2025. The higher-end Iconia V12 will arrive a month sooner in July at a starting price of 289 Euros. These affordable prices position both devices as appealing choices for casual users and students.
