Motorola seems all set to introduce the Edge 60 series and the Moto G86, which have generated considerable anticipation; leaks have already provided several details about the impending smartphones. While Edge 60 is expected to deliver on performance, design, and pricing, the Moto G86 is more likely to cater to the mid-range segment with credible specifications.
Motorola Edge 60 Series: Premium Features with Refined Design
The Edge 60 series is expected to feature three models: Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60, and Edge 60 Fusion. Lately, the camera and design of the flagship Edge 60 Pro have leaked in various reports, which suggest that the phone will bring with it high-end specifications. All reports talk about the Snapdragon top-of-the-line processor, a stunning 120Hz curved OLED viewfinder, and a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) that surely will bring out great photography. The Pro model should include a 5,100mAh battery with 68W fast charging support that would provide longer life.
The standard Edge 60, however, is said to be a slightly toned-down version but still consists of premium features. A Dimensity processor, an OLED display, and a high resolution of main camera seem to be along with the same features of the Pro variant. On the other hand, the rumors suggest that the Edge 60 Fusion will be focused greatly on style and performance, thus achieving an optimal balance between attractive aesthetics and workability through hardware and software optimizations. The price range expected for the Edge 60 in India could start at ₹30,000, making them worthy competitors in the premium mid-range category.
By contrast, the Moto G86 is an out-and-out mid-range product with staggering features. The Moto G86 is expected to carry off its magical magic either from a MediaTek or QualcommProcesses. It is rumored to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, allowing smooth scrolling and impressive color. The camera guys could love its 50MP primary sensor along with AI enhancements for better low-light photography.
The expected battery capacity would be the usual 5,000mAh, coupled with fast charging support, targeting those who require all-day battery life. Motorola must also continue its clean stock Android-like experience: a neat software experience that is free of any kind of bloatware. For an expected price of around ₹22,000, Moto G86 looks to be a tempting option in the sub-25K segment.
