Lava Shark 5G Leaks : Lava is once again in the news in the budget smartphone segment. In line with the release of the Lava Shark 4G, the company is now set to release its 5G variant. While Lava has not officially announced to that effect, some leaks already informed us what’s on the plate with the Lava Shark 5G.
Expected Features and Specifications
The new phone can ideally be driven by a Unisoc T765 processor which will be well over enough for daily use. The phone can have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The second surprise of a feature is that the phone can ideally ship with Android 15 pre-installed, and what a great feature to include in a budget phone.
Camera and Design Leaks
On the camera side, Lava Shark 5G has a dual camera at the back. The main sensor that is rumored to be is 13MP, but nothing of the second one and the front-facing camera either. The design in general rumored to be marginally changed than its 4G version. Rumor photos indicate a square module at the rear with two curved camera cut-outs and an LED flash. The phone will come in blue and gold color versions, thereby giving consumers the trendy option.
What We Know from the Lava Shark 4G
In comparison, Lava Shark 4G’s 6.67-inch HD+ display was powered by a 120Hz refresh rate. It featured a Unisoc T606 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 50MP dual rear camera and 8MP front sensor, and claimed to have a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. It was available at a record ₹6,999 when it was launched.
So we can expect the new Lava Shark 5G to attempt to set the price right but with the added benefits of 5G and a little more. We don’t know as yet about a released date but it will be arriving very soon. If you are in the market for a budget phone with 5G, this may be worth waiting for.
