Infinix Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD: Infinix has officially launched two new budget smartphones in its entry-level Smart 10 series, Infinix Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD. Though both phones are aimed at price-sensitive consumers, they introduce some premium features such as high refresh rate screens, Unisoc processors, and DTS audio support. The company also offers a range with a Smart 10 Plus model, but we are dealing with the features and specifications of the HD and regular models here.

Display and Design: High Refresh Rate for Less

The Infinix Smart 10 features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD that can go up to a 120Hz refresh rate and offers 700 nits of maximum brightness. The Smart 10 HD, on the other hand, features a smaller 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display that has a 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. Both phones provide good brightness and silky smooth scrolling for their price category. Dimension-wise, the Smart 10 is thinner at 8.25mm and 187 grams, whereas the HD variant is 8.5mm thick and 184 grams.

Performance: Unisoc Chips Power Both Devices

On the inside, the Smart 10 uses a Unisoc T7250 chipset that comes with up to 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with support for up to 4GB of extended RAM. The Smart 10 HD is equipped with a Unisoc T606 processor and has 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable to 2TB using a microSD card. Both devices have a 5,000mAh battery, but only the Smart 10 gets 15W fast charging, while the HD model gets 10W.

Cameras: Improved Photography on the HD Model

At the camera department, the Smart 10 comes with a standard 8MP rear and front camera, which are both capable of taking 2K video. The Smart 10 HD comes with a more powerful 13MP dual rear camera with an f/1.85 aperture and an 8MP front camera, both of which are aided with LED flash. Although these are not enough for professional camera users, they are perfectly capable of casual photography and video calls.

Software and Connectivity: New OS with Handy Features

The Smart 10 is powered by XOS 15.1, which is built on top of Android 15, with the best software experience. The Smart 10 HD, on the other hand, boots Android 14 Go Edition, designed for low-spec devices. The phones are backed by dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, USB-C, IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Side-mounted fingerprint sensors, face unlock, IP64 splash protection, and DTS audio for better sound quality are also found in both phones.

Color and Availability: As Yet to be Priced

The Infinix Smart 10 will be available in Malaysia in Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Iris Blue, and Twilight Gold colors. The Smart 10 HD will launch in African countries in Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Crystal Green, and Galaxy White. Pricing information for both phones is not yet available.
