Huawei Pura 80 Pro: Huawei’s next flagship smartphone series, i.e. Pura 80 Pro and Pro+, is now very close to launch. The official entry of this smartphone is on June 11, but before that some of its explosive details have come out, especially about the camera and design. And if you are fond of photography, then this time Huawei has planned something big for you.

Big change in camera, new 1-inch sensor will be available

The information that has been leaked about the camera setup of Huawei’s new Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ models is quite interesting. In both the models, the company is going to give its new 1-inch 50MP main camera sensor, which will be a big upgrade over the previous Pura 70 Pro+. Along with this, a 24mm variable aperture lens will also be available, which can prove to be a step better than the earlier 25mm setup. This means that now low-light photography and bokeh effect will look better than before.

Apart from this, the company has also made changes in the telephoto camera section. This time there is talk of getting an 89mm periscope zoom lens, which will give about 3.7x optical zoom. This is definitely a slightly shorter focal length than the 93mm, 3.5x zoom found in the 70 Pro +, but there will not be much difference in quality. Huawei is going to provide a telephoto zoom setup of 2x (48mm) and 3.7x (89mm) here. Apart from this, another 50MP 1/1.28-inch sensor will also be seen, which will make detailing and depth look more natural.

New touch will also be available in design and display

Now talking about the design, this time Huawei Pura 80 Pro + is going to get a curved edge design with a slightly curved display and metal frame. Due to this design, the phone will feel more comfortable when held in the hand, especially for those who use mobile heavily all the time. This new look will give a more premium feel compared to other flat design phones.

Huawei may opt for a single punch-hole front camera this time, which will be right in the middle of the screen. This means that there will be no high-end 3D face recognition tech for face unlock this time too. But this will make the screen look clearer and focused, which gives a very modern feel.

As far as the Pura 80 Pro is concerned, its look will also be largely in the same style. However, for the “Ultra” variant, the company is planning to bring a special tandem OLED panel, which will be even sharper and energy efficient.

Huawei preparing to become the camera-king

Huawei has already been introducing its phones with camera-centric branding, and the Pura 80 series also seems to be carrying forward the same trend. Like every time, this time too Huawei has made major changes in its camera system, which can further strengthen its position in the market.

Now it remains to be seen how true Huawei proves these leaked details in the launch event on June 11, and whether this phone will really become the king of the camera or not. But looking at the initial leaks, one thing can definitely be said – Huawei’s Pura 80 series is going to bring a big surprise for pro-photography fans.
