Honor Magic 8 Pro: Honor is preparing to make a splash once again with its next flagship phone Magic 8 Pro. According to the latest leaks, this time the company is emphasizing on two big things – strong battery and powerful camera system.

If you also want a smartphone that lasts a long time and can take great photos, then you will definitely like this upcoming phone from Honor.

Change in display

The biggest change that has come to the fore is the display design. While the Magic 7 Pro had a 6.8-inch curved LTPO OLED screen, the Magic 8 Pro is expected to have a 6.71-inch flat display.

Although not much information has come about the resolution and peak brightness yet, it is believed that Honor will retain the high refresh rate and eye-friendly PWM dimming tech so that the screen is comfortable to use.

Snapdragon 8 Elite 2

According to the leaks, Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset is going to be available in the Magic 8 Pro. This chip is giving a score of more than 4,000 on single-core and 11,000 on multi-core in benchmarks, which can make it the most powerful mobile processor of this year.

This will not only make gaming great in the phone, but will also provide tremendous AI processing and overall smoothness.

200MP camers

Honor is preparing to take its camera game even higher. The Magic 8 Pro will definitely have a 200MP telephoto sensor, but the leak says that this time both the main and telephoto cameras have been “significantly upgraded”.

This means you can get better low-light shots, faster focus, and overall better photo/video quality. The new image processing stack and sensor tuning can also be a new surprise from Honor.

7000mAh Battery

Now let’s talk about the biggest feature – the battery! Magic 7 Pro had a 5,850mAh battery, but Honor is going to give a battery of about 7,000mAh in Magic 8 Pro.

This is a big deal for those users who get annoyed every time looking at the battery percentage. 80W or 100W wired support can also be available for fast charging. However, nothing is clear about wireless charging yet.

Security and Other Features

Magic 8 Pro is expected to have both ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and 3D face recognition – that is, there is no compromise in security.

Also, if Honor follows its old design language, then the phone can get IP68/IP69 rating and premium glass body.

When will it be launched?

There is no official launch date from Honor yet, but the leaks indicate that the device is in the final stage of development and can hit the market soon.
