Salman Khan ‘Sikandar’ Smashes Box Office Records! Massive Collection in Just 4 Days

Bollywood’s Bhaijaan, Salman Khan’s film ‘Sikander’ is splashing at the box office. Critics may be divided about the film, but the love of the audience is making it earn a lot of money. The remarkable thing is that the Sikander collection in the first four days has endangered many old records.

Housefull on single screens, cold start in multiplexes

According to the report of Navbharat Times, ‘Sikander’ has earned around Rs 158 crore worldwide. Even though some of its shows are empty in multiplexes, single-screen cinemas are witnessing huge crowds. The specialty of Salman Khan’s films has been that they work magic on single-screen audiences, and the same is happening this time too.

Box office collection of ‘Sikander’ (first four days)

Day 1 (March 30) – Rs 39.37 crore (27.16 crore in India, 8.10 crore abroad)

Day 2 (March 31) – Rs 41.50 crore

Day 3 (April 1) – Rs 34.85 crore (11.80 crore in India)

Day 4 (April 2) – Rs 13.85 crore (10.35 crore in India, 3.50 crore abroad)

Total worldwide gross – Rs 158.50 crore

‘Sikander’ gave competition to these films

This action-drama film of Salman Khan has earned more than Ajay Devgan’s ‘Maidaan’ and Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.

‘Maidaan’ had earned a total of Rs 71.72 crore.

The lifetime collection of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ was Rs 111.50 crore.

The total collection of both films is Rs 183.22 crore, which ‘Sikander’ can cross within a week.

Great collection despite online leak

A significant setback was that ‘Sikander’ was leaked online just hours after its release. Despite this, the film continued to earn brilliantly, which proves Salman Khan’s fan following and the audience’s passion for his films.

Will ‘Sikander’ join the 300 crore club?

Looking at the initial pace of the film, trade analysts believe that ‘Sikander’ can quickly join the 300 crore club. However, the pace of its collection in the next few days will decide how big a blockbuster it will prove to be.
