When and Where Will *Panchayat Season 5* Be Released?

Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that work on *Panchayat Season 5* has officially begun and that the season is slated for release in 2026. While the creators have not yet announced a specific release date, speculation suggests that the Phulera crew will be back amongst us by the end of the year. Cameras have started rolling in Phulera! Recently, Prime Video shared some behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos from the set on social media.

The caption accompanying the post read:

“It’s been 6 years of living in Phulera, and we just can’t bring ourselves to leave. #PanchayatOnPrime: New Season, Filming Underway.” This time around, things won’t be easy for ‘Sachiv Ji’ (The Secretary). According to the creators, in Season 5, Abhishek Tripathi will have to work under a new leadership that is not only extremely difficult but also driven by a spirit of vengeance.

On one hand, his dream is to clear the CAT exam and pursue an MBA; however, certain unresolved matters in Phulera village—along with his growing affection for Rinki—won’t let him leave the village quite so easily. This time, the village politics and Sachiv Ji’s personal struggles are set to combine to deliver a double dose of entertainment.
