Bhojpuri star and RJD leader Khesari Lal Yadav tried his luck in the Bihar Assembly elections, but lost to Chhoti Kumari. During the election campaign, he raised the issue of the Ram Temple in a statement, after which he faced intense trolling on social media. Now, Khesari Lal once again appeared via Instagram Live and, indirectly taking a dig at Pawan Singh, clarified his previous statement.

Thanked the people of Chapra and also shared his illness

In the live video, Khesari revealed that he has been continuously ill since the elections ended. A cough and fever left him quite weak. Despite this, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the support of the people of Chapra.

He said, “A lot was said about me during the elections. I was even branded an opponent of Ram. After all, what do you people know about Ram? A person who lives with one wife is not a Ram devotee… and only a person who marries two or three times is considered a Ram devotee?”

This comment was clearly his retort to the ongoing discussions on social media.

“I never opposed the Ram Temple” – Khesari’s clarification

Khesari categorically stated that his statement was distorted.

He said, “I never opposed the Ram Temple. I was simply saying that temples have their place, Sanatan Dharma has its place, but education and employment are equally important.”

He says he was discussing development issues, but the political climate misdirected his discussion.

A direct attack on Pawan Singh without naming him

Khesari Lal did not mention Pawan Singh by name during the live broadcast, but it was clear that he was the target. He said, “Everyone knows who has what character. Some people are mocking our claims that we consider our elder brothers to be like fathers. In our society, an elder brother is considered a father figure. Unfortunately, the people I considered my elder brothers were not worthy of that status.” Khesari didn’t stop there. He continued, “If I speak openly, many people will be exposed.” This line has sparked further discussion among fans.
