In this video, Pawan Singh is seen with his hand on Anjali’s waist, which has caused considerable controversy. After this incident, Anjali released a video detailing the whole thing and expressing her anger.
What happened in the video?
Anjali shared a video on her Instagram and said that she was distraught after this incident. She noted that many people were messaging her and asking why she had not slapped Pawan Singh at that time or why she had not reacted. Anjali clearly said, “Will I be happy if someone touches me like this in public?”
She mentioned that before this event, she had shot a song with Pawan Singh, during which she had no problems. So when she was invited to the event in Lucknow, she thought that everything would be fine.

Anjali told what happened on stage.
Anjali said that on stage, Pawan Singh said to her, “Something is stuck on your waist.” Anjali thought that maybe some tag of the saree or blouse was left. She started laughing and avoided the topic, instead talking to the audience. However, Pawan Singh kept repeating the same thing over and over again.

When Anjali asked her team and also looked at herself, she realised that nothing was stuck there. Anjali said that she got very angry and started crying. She said that only Pawan Singh’s fans were present at that event, so she felt that if she said something, no one would support her. Shortly after this, Pawan Singh left the stage.
Pawan Singh did not pick up the phone, and Anjali was given advice
Anjali said that when she came home, she saw that this matter had become very big. She immediately called Pawan Singh, but he did not answer the phone, and neither did he try to find out whether Anjali was okay.
When Anjali considered speaking about this, someone advised her that Pawan Singh’s PR team was powerful, and if she said anything, the matter could escalate. After receiving this advice, Anjali decided to speak with Pawan Singh herself later.

Anjali also clearly said that she does not consider this kind of behaviour right at all. She said that touching any girl without her consent is wrong. She said, “If the same thing had happened in Haryana, I would not have needed to say anything. The public there would have given a reply themselves.”
She also said that she will no longer work in the Bhojpuri industry. She said, “As an artist, I wanted to do something new, that too with a big star like Pawan Singh, but all this happened to me.” Anjali ended her talk by saying, “You tell me, if you were in my place, what would you have done and what should I have done?”
