This time, the question paper will consist of 3 sections. A total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked across these three sections. One mark has been allotted for each question. There is a provision for negative marking in this examination; for every incorrect answer, one-fourth (1/4) of a mark will be deducted.

Appointments are to be made for a total of 7,994 vacant Lekhpal posts. Category-wise, 4,165 posts are reserved for the Unreserved category, 1,446 for Scheduled Castes, 150 for Scheduled Tribes, 1,441 for Other Backward Classes, and 792 for the Economically Weaker Section. An additional 1,592 posts will be reserved specifically for female candidates.
