UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2026 Update: Good news is coming for students taking the UP Board exams in 2026. The high school and intermediate exams will conclude on March 12th. After the exams are over, students won’t have to wait long for their results. According to an update from the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, the board will release the results soon.
After the exams are complete, the UP Board will begin checking the answer sheets. For the evaluation process, 249 centres have been set up across the state, where the 10th and 12th-grade answer sheets will be checked.
In fact, the UP Board high school and intermediate board exams will conclude on March 12th, 2026. This year, over 5 million students appeared for the UP Board exams. Students have been awaiting their results ever since the board exams concluded. The UPMSP has also expedited the release of results.
When will the copy checking begin in March?
The UP Board will not delay the release of results this time. The board will begin the copy checking process as soon as the exams are over. 249 centres have been set up across the state for the evaluation process, where approximately 30 million copies of over 50 lakh students will be checked. Approximately 150,000 teachers will be deployed for the copy checking.
Copy checking is expected to begin on March 18th. Examiners will have to conduct all assessment work under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Centre gates will remain closed during the copy checking process. No outsiders will be allowed inside. Examiners’ mobile phones and electronic devices will also be kept outside the room.
When will the UP Board results be released?
The UP Board 10th-12th exam results are expected to be released in the second or third week of April. Based on previous years’ data, the board typically releases results within 10 to 15 days of completing the copy-checking process.

How many marks are required to pass in the UP Board?
To pass the UP Board exam, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they will also have the opportunity to retake the compartment exam later.
