UGC NET 2025 Exam City Slip Released Soon : An important update has come out for lakhs of candidates preparing for the UGC NET 2025 exam. The exam is now near and in such a situation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the Intimation Slip giving information about the exam city soon. This slip will tell the candidates in advance in which city they have to take the exam, so that they can make their travel and other necessary arrangements on time.
For the last few years, NTA has been providing this facility before every exam so that the candidates do not face any kind of problem at the last moment. Although it is not an admit card, but with its help you get the information about the city of the examination center in advance.
What is UGC NET Intimation Slip?
It is an official document that tells the candidate the city of his examination center.
Its main purpose is to help students plan the journey.
This makes it easier to be mentally prepared before the exam.
How to check and download Intimation Slip?
If you are doing this process for the first time, then you can easily download the slip by following the steps given below:
First of all go to: ugcnet.nta.ac.in — This is the official website of UGC NET.
When the website opens, you will find the link of City Intimation Slip – June 2025 on the homepage.
Click on that link.
Now you have to fill your Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin.
As soon as you submit, your exam city information will appear on the screen.
Now download it in PDF and save it with you.
Is this an Admit Card? No!
Keep in mind that this Intimation Slip only gives information about the exam city, but it is not an admit card. To appear in the exam, you will have to carry the original admit card which will be issued later.
The admit card will be issued a few days before the exam, which will contain the complete address of the exam center, time, subject and other instructions.

Exam date: Between 25 June to 29 June 2025.
Exam shift: Will be conducted in two shifts – morning and afternoon.
Exam mode: CBT (Computer Based Test)
