SSC GD Constable Result 2025 : An important update has come out for the candidates who appeared in the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam this year. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to release the GD Constable 2025 result soon on the official website ssc.gov.in. All the candidates who appeared in the exam are eagerly waiting for this result.
When was the exam held?
This year’s Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted by SSC from 4 February 2025 to 25 February 2025. Lakhs of youth from all over the country participated in it. Now the results of the exam are likely to be released and after that the next stages of the selection process will start.
How to check result?
When the result is released, the candidates will have to go to the official website of SSC and click on the result link related to ‘Constable-GD’ exam. As soon as you click on the link named “SSC GD Constable Exam Result 2025”, a PDF file will open containing the roll numbers and cut-off marks of the shortlisted candidates. You can download it and keep it safe with you.
What was the format of the exam?
The SSC GD Constable exam was conducted in objective type (MCQ) with a total of 80 marks. The exam was divided into four parts — General Knowledge, English or Hindi Language, Mathematics and Logical Ability. Each part had 20 marks. There was negative marking of 0.5 marks for each question for the wrong answer.
What will be the process after the result?
Candidates who will be selected in the CBT exam will be called for the next process which will include Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). In this stage, the physical ability of the candidates will be tested through running.
The distance and time of the race are different for both male and female candidates, which are as per the recruitment norms. Apart from this, their height and weight will also be checked to ensure that they meet the prescribed standards.
How will the final selection be done?
A final merit list will be prepared for the candidates who qualify in CBT, PET and PST. This list will be prepared on the basis of their performance, category and cut-off. Candidates who will be successful in all the stages will be appointed to the post of constable in various forces of the country.
