Bihar SHS Exam Date 2025: The Bihar Health Department, State Health Society, has announced the exam dates for the ANM and Ophthalmic Assistant exams. Candidates who have registered for the ANM or Ophthalmic Assistant exam will be able to sit for the exam shortly. There are 5,006 ANM positions and 220 Ophthalmic Assistant positions to fill. Exams to Begin
The ANM written exam will be held between December 17th and 19th at various exam centres across Bihar. The Ophthalmic Assistant exam will be held on December 20th, 2025.
When will the admit card be released?
According to the official notification issued by the Bihar SHS, the admit card will be available for download two days before the exam. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website at shs.bihar.gov.in. All candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly.
AAM Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination, work experience, and document verification. The written examination will consist of 60 questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the examination. The written examination will be conducted for two hours.
Ophthalmic Assistant Exam Pattern
In the Ophthalmic Assistant examination, candidates will be asked 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth 100 marks, covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Technical Ability. The examination duration is two hours. Fortunately, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates who pass this examination will be called to participate in the document verification process.
