If you are preparing for the bank, then there is good news for you. The Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment preliminary examination was conducted by the State Bank of India on 2, 4, and 5 August 2025. Now the students who appeared for the exam are waiting for the result, which may be announced this month. According to the exam calendar, the examination for this exam is proposed to be conducted in September 2025, so it is estimated that the result can be announced in the third and fourth week of the month.

How can you check the result?
SBI will release the results of all the students on the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in, where you will be able to see the results online. The result will not be sent to any student in a personal form. Know here how to know the result.
- To see the SBI PO Prelims result, you have to visit the official website sbi.co.in.
- Go to the website and click on the option to see the result.
- After this, enter the roll number or registration number, date of birth, and security pin, and click on the submit button.
- After this, your result will appear on the screen. You can also download the result.
The main exam will be held next month
SBI’s main exam will be held in September 2025. The admit card for the mains exam will be issued a few days before the exam. Only those students will be able to give the mains exam who have passed the exam by getting the cutoff marks.
After passing the mains exam, the final stage will be the interview. If you are successful in the interview, then you will be appointed to the vacant posts.

How many posts will be recruited?
A total of 541 posts will be recruited across the country. Out of this, 500 posts are reserved for regular posts and 41 posts for backlog posts. For more information, visit the official website.
