RRB Group D Exam 2025 Dates Out. The wait for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to announce the dates for the 2025 Group D Recruitment Exam is about to end. According to the board’s notification, the RRB Group D exam will begin on November 17, 2025, and will continue until the end of December. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 32,438 positions. Millions of candidates have applied for this recruitment drive, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of admit cards so they can receive their exam city and centre information promptly.

According to reports, the city intimation slips for the 2025 RRB Group D Recruitment Exam will be released 10 days before the exam date, while the admit cards will be released four days before the exam. This means that the city slips are likely to be released on November 7 or 8, and the admit cards on November 13 or 14.

RRB Group D Exam 2025: When and how will the exam be held?
According to the official notification released by the Railway Recruitment Board, the Group D recruitment exam will be held from November 17th to the last week of December 2025. The exam will be conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates are advised to arrive at their exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to avoid any inconvenience.
How to Download the RRB Group D Admit Card and City Slip?
Once the admit card or city slip link is activated, candidates will be able to download it by following the simple steps given below:
- First, visit the official RRB website – rrbcdg.gov.in or your regional RRB portal.
- Click on the “RRB Group D Admit Card 2025” or “City Intimation Slip” link on the homepage.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth to log in.
- Your admit card/city slip will open on the screen.
- After checking all the details, download it and take a printout.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates will be selected for the Group D exam through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), including:

- Mathematics – 30 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 questions
- General Science – 25 questions
- General Awareness and Current Affairs – 15 questions
- Exam Duration: 90 minutes
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Wrong Answer: -1/3 mark (Negative Marking will apply)
The question paper will be online only, and candidates must answer all questions within the stipulated time.

This recruitment process will fill Level-1 positions (such as Track Maintainer, Helper, Assistant, Pointsman, etc.) across various railway zones.
