Round 1 and Seat Resign Process
Actually, there is a big update here for the candidates participating in NEET UG Counselling, due to which the seat allotment process of Round 1 has been completed. If you have registered for NEET UG Counselling in the first round, then the result is now available on the MCC portal. Students who had accepted the seat, however, for some reason now want to leave it, can resign from the seat.

NEET UG Counselling Round 2 Schedule
Candidates who could not get a seat in the first phase of counselling will have to register again to participate in the counselling. After that, they will complete the choice filling/locking process. This process is going to start on 29 August. After this, the Round 2 seat allotment result of the students will be released after registration and choice filling. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to report to the allotted institute within the stipulated dates.

How to register for Round 2 counselling?
Students have to visit the official website of MCC and follow these steps, the information of which is given below.
- First of all, go to mcc.nic.in.
- Click on UG Medical Counselling 2025.
- Select “Round 2 – Registration/Choice Filling”. Log in with application number, password and DOB.
- Upload documents, pay fees and select options.
- Submit the form and take a printout of it.
- This printout will have to be shown while reporting to the institute.
