NEET PG 2025 Counselling Begins. There’s great news for candidates who passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate), or NEET PG 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the full schedule for NEET PG counselling 2025. Candidates can now view the round-wise counselling dates by visiting mcc.nic.in. This year, the counselling process will cover admissions to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats across the country, as well as 100% deemed and central university, ESIC, and AFMS seats.

When will the counselling process begin?

According to the MCC notification, the first round of NEET counselling 2025 began on October 17th, and registration will continue until November 5th, 2025. Candidates who have passed the exam can log in to the official website to complete their registration and choice filling.

Candidates are advised not to wait for the deadline and complete the application process as soon as possible to avoid server or technical issues.

According to this schedule, MCC will conduct counselling in three rounds. A mop-up round may be held after this to fill any remaining vacant seats.

Which courses will be available for admission?

Through the NEET PG 20counsellinging, candidates will be admitted to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges across the country. Additionally, seats at deemed universities and central universities will also be filled through this process.

Documents Required for Counselling

  • Students must carry the following documents with them during counselling:
  • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card
  • NEET PG 2025 Scorecard
  • Class 10th Marksheet (as birth certificate)
  • MBBS Degree and Marksheet
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or SMC
  • Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.)
  • Other Required Certificates, if applicable (e.g., Category Certificate, Residence Certificate, etc.)

Candidates are advised to keep scanned copies of their documents ready to avoid any issues during online verification.

In its official notice, the MCC has urged candidates to complete their registration and choice locking on time. It is important to exercise caution at every stage of the counselling process, as once choices are locked, they cannot be changed.
