NEET 2026 Fee Refund Process: The National Testing Agency (NTA) cancelled the examination following the emergence of a paper leak scandal. Consequently, a re-examination is being organised for the more than 2.2 million candidates who appeared for the NEET exam held on May 3. The NEET re-examination is scheduled to be conducted next month, on June 21. The NTA has already clarified that no additional fee of any kind will be charged to candidates for the NEET re-examination. Furthermore, the NTA has announced that it will refund the fees previously collected from the 2.2 million candidates. This means that the registration fees will be refunded to the NEET UG 2026 candidates.

According to reports, the fees for NEET UG 2026 candidates are to be refunded online; candidates will be required to submit an application for this purpose.

The window for fee refunds opens today—May 21—on behalf of the NTA. As soon as the window opens, all students will be able to claim their fee refunds by updating their bank account details. Reports suggest that the NTA may activate the refund link by the evening or night of May 21. This link will be generated directly on the official NEET UG website.
