MP Board 5th 8th Exam Date 2026: In Madhya Pradesh, the 5th and 8th grade exams for the 2025-26 academic session will be conducted in accordance with the board pattern. The exams will begin on February 20th and continue until February 28th. 12,920 exam centres have been set up across the state for the exams. State Education Centre Director Harjinder Singh stated that the necessary facilities have been provided at the exam centres in accordance with the number of students.

This year, approximately 2.49 million students from 110,615 government, private, and madrasas will appear for the exam. Of these, separate question papers for language subjects based on the NCERT syllabus have been prepared for 20,736 students from 522 private schools.

Monitoring the entire exam through an online portal
To ensure transparency and orderliness, the School Education Department has developed a dedicated IT portal. The portal will handle student verification, determining exam centres, appointing centre heads, issuing roll numbers, and issuing admit cards. The entire process, from attendance to evaluation and mark sheets, will be online.

The State Education Centre has clearly stated that every eligible student will be given a chance to appear for the exam. If a student is unable to register before the exam for some reason, they will still be given a chance. The information for such students will be recorded after the exam. Students from over 86,000 government schools, approximately 24,000 private schools, and 525 madrasas in the state will participate in this exam.

Theory exams will be held between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. The respective schools will conduct practical exams between February 10 and March 10, 2026. Class 10 exams will begin on February 11 and end on March 2, and Class 12 exams will be held between February 7 and March 3, 2025.
