Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released bumper recruitment for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE). The last date of application for this recruitment process has been fixed as 09 September 2025. Interested and eligible candidates now have very little time left. The online application window will be closed after the stipulated time limit. Under this recruitment campaign, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 841 posts. Applications will be accepted online only through the official website.
Age limit and relaxation

According to the notification issued by LIC, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years, and the maximum age should be 30 years. At the same time, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation. SC and ST candidates will be given a maximum relaxation of 5 years, OBC candidates will be given 3 years’ relaxation, and Divyang candidates will be given 10 years’ relaxation.
Educational Qualification
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have other prescribed educational qualifications, including a BE or BTech degree from a recognized institute. Only the applications of those candidates will be valid whose qualifications are in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Commission.

Candidates who want to apply for the LIC AAO and AE recruitment must first visit the official website. There, one has to register by clicking on the link “LIC AAO application”. After this, scanned documents have to be uploaded along with entering personal details. After paying the prescribed application fee, the candidates have to print a copy of the filled form and keep it safe.

Selection Process

The selection process will be completed in two stages. In the first stage, the candidates will have to appear for the preliminary examination, in which 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English subjects. Candidates successful in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. After the main examination, the final merit list will be prepared, and the selected candidates will be given appointment letters.
