JEE Main 2026: The National Testing Agency has activated the demo registration link for JEE Main 2026. This is intended to familiarise students with the online registration process. The demo for JEE Main 2026 registration will be available on the website demo.nta.nic.in. The registration process for JEE Main Session 1 will begin in October. In this regard, the NTA has also released a dummy link for JEE Main Session 1 registration preparations. To avoid any inconvenience, the NTA has advised candidates to begin preparing for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration now.
JEE Main 2026: How to complete your dummy registration:
First, visit the official website, demo.nta.nic.in
Clicking on the dummy page for the Public Examinations Management Platform.
The page will display the Admin and Candidate Portal options.
Click on the Candidate Portal option.
The NTA Public Examinations page will open.
Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 page and tap the Apply button below.
A dummy page for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will open.
Candidates registering for the first time should click on the New Registration option.
A page containing the guidelines and process for submitting the online application will open.
Click the Process button below to open the application form.
The application requires information such as name, address, and other information.
Candidates can complete this information and proceed to the next step.
JEE Main 2026 Exam Sessions
The JEE Main exam has two sessions. The first session is held in January and the second in April. Students can appear in either or both sessions. The best score in either session is considered final. JEE Main consists of two papers: JEE Main Paper 1 for BE/B.Tech and Paper 2A and 2B. Paper-2A gives admission in B Architecture, and Paper-2B gives admission in B Planning.
