CUET UG Exam 2026 Date, Guidelines:— Significant news has emerged for candidates applying for the CUET UG examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 examinations across India and in 15 cities abroad, from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The examinations will be held in a computer-based mode.
The NTA has once again issued a notification regarding this. The NTA has clarified that candidates may wear religious items or attire, provided they arrive at the examination centre ahead of schedule to undergo security checks. Light-colored clothing is preferred. Guidelines for the examination have been shared by the NTA.
CUET UG Exam 2026 Guidelines:
All candidates are permitted to carry transparent water bottles.
Candidates may wear items associated with their religious beliefs, provided they arrive at the examination centre in advance to undergo security checks.
It is advisable to wear light-colored clothing. Candidates may wear woollen clothing if they deem it necessary.
Candidates have been advised to wear regular shoes, slippers, or low-heeled footwear.
All candidates have been extended the best wishes for the upcoming examination.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from 11 May to 31 May 2026 in India and in 15 cities outside India.

According to data from the National Testing Agency (NTA), approximately 15.69 lakh candidates have registered for the examination scheduled to begin next week. As per NTA statistics, this represents a significant increase compared to previous years (13.55 lakh candidates in 2025 and 13.48 lakh in 2024).
