CTET Answer Key 2026 Update – Provisional Key Expected Shortly at ctet.nic.in last Feb

CTET Answer Key 2026 Announced Soon: The Central Board of Secondary Education will soon release the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The answer key is expected to be released by mid-March next month. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the result date yet. After the answer key is released, candidates can check their results on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates will need to enter their registration number and password to check their results. The CBSE will first release a provisional answer key. Based on previous patterns, answer keys are released within 20 days of the exam. Therefore, it is estimated that the final answer key may be released by the end of February. However, the CBSE has not yet shared official information.

After the provisional answer key is released, candidates will be able to compare their questions with their answers. If any candidate is dissatisfied with any answer given in the question, they may file an objection within the stipulated dates. A fee of Rs. 1000 per question will be required to file an objection.

When will the result be released?
After the provisional answer key is released, objections filed against it will be resolved by a team of experts constituted by CBSE. After that, the final answer key will be prepared. The result will be declared based on the final answer key. The results are expected to be announced within 2 to 3 weeks of the provisional answer key release.

What is the CTET Exam?
Candidates who pass the CTET exam become eligible to participate in teacher recruitment. Candidates who pass Paper 1 are eligible to teach classes 1 to 5, while those who pass Paper 2 are eligible to teach classes 6 to 8.

Enter your roll number and date of birth and click the Login button.
The answer key will open on your screen.
Compare your questions and answers.
Submit your objection by clicking on the answer you wish to object to.

When was the exam held?

The exam was conducted in two shifts. The first shift was from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while the second shift was scheduled from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Now, it is being speculated that the answer key may be released at any time.
