CTET 2026 Result Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The window for filing objections has now closed. Candidates are eagerly awaiting their results. According to media reports, CBSE may release the CETE 2026 results any day now. Once the results are released, candidates can check their results on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

The CTET 2026 exam was conducted on February 7th and 8th in two shifts across 140 cities nationwide. CBSE has not yet shared an official result release date, but it is estimated that the final results will be released within two weeks of the closing of the correction window.

Learn the Category-Wise Passing Marks
General category candidates must score at least 60 per cent to be declared qualified. Meanwhile, candidates from reserved categories, including OBC, SC, and ST, require a minimum of 55 per centor 82 marks.

For the January 2024 session, the provisional answer key was released on February 7, 2024, 17 days after the exam concluded. The results were released on February 15.

First, visit the website ctet.nic.in
Click on the ‘CTET December 2026 Result’ link on the homepage.
Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth on the new page.
Click the ‘Submit’ button.
Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

CTET Marking Scheme and Passing Marks
Candidates who appeared in the CTET exam can estimate their results based on the provisional answer key. However, for accurate results, they will have to wait for the final answer key. If objections filed based on the provisional answer key are found correct upon verification, those questions will be removed from the final answer key, and candidates will receive marks for those questions. A total of 150 questions are asked in the CTET exam, each carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking in this exam.
