When Was the Toppers’ Verification Conducted Last Year?
Last year, the evaluation of Bihar Board Class 12 answer sheets began on February 27, 2025, and was completed between March 10 and March 13. Subsequently, the Board initiated the toppers’ verification process around March 15 to March 20. On March 25, the Bihar Board officially released the Class 12 results.
What is Toppers’ Verification?
Once the answer sheet evaluation is complete, the Board prepares a list of the top 10 to 20 probable toppers. These students are summoned to the Bihar Board office located in Patna.
Here, a team of subject-matter experts conducts interviews with these students. During the interview, students are asked questions related to their respective subjects to ascertain whether they have genuinely passed the examination based on their own merit and hard work.

Once the results are released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards via the official websites: biharboardonline.com, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, or results.biharboardonline.com. It is often observed that immediately upon the release of results, the Board’s website crashes due to heavy traffic. In such situations, students tend to become quite anxious. Candidates can also check their results via SMS. To check their results, students must type “BIHAR 12 [ROLL NUMBER]” and send it to the number 56263.

Students must enter their login credentials, such as their Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Once the login details are entered, the result will appear on the screen.
Finally, download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
